The Waterproof Plant Tracker Ultra is a self-contained 4G GPS asset tracker with its own long-life battery, so there are no wires to connect and nothing for a thief to trace back to it. It works straight out of the box: switch it on, place it out of sight and it starts reporting its position.
Unlike a wired tracker, it does not transmit all the time. It wakes up at set times, reports its location over the 4G mobile network and then switches its signal off again. That is what makes it so hard to find with a signal detector, and why the battery lasts so long: 1 to 5 years, based on two reports a day.
At just 84mm x 63mm x 24mm and 90g, it fits into small spaces inside a machine, a trailer or a piece of equipment. The waterproof case means it can also be fitted outside, and with the optional magnetic base it can be fixed to any steel surface in seconds and moved between assets whenever you need.
Draw a zone on the map around where your machine is kept and you will get an alert if it is taken outside it. You can check its last reported position at any time in the TrackManager app or on your computer, and look back over its history.
The Waterproof Plant Tracker Ultra is ideal for anything without its own power supply, or anything you want to protect without wiring: plant and machinery, trailers, plant and machinery, containers and high-value equipment. Many customers also fit one as a hidden second tracker alongside a wired or insurance approved tracker, so that if a thief finds and removes the first, the second is still reporting.
