How Does the Vehicle Dash Camera record?

The Footage is recorded directly onto an SD Card in an enclosed and tamper proof area on the Dash Camera.

Who do I e-mail to get the video files recovered remotely and what do you need?

You can simply fill out our request video footage form.
 

We will need the date and exact time of the incident. We also need some details about what happened so we can get all of the footage required. The benefit of using this method is that insurance companies will struggle to say you edited the footage to your own benefit when it comes directly from us. We will need you to turn the ignition on inside the vehicle to allow us to remote access the footage. 

Is professional installation required for Dash Camera with GPS?

For guaranteed compliance, Dash Camera with GPS must be professionally installed. 

 

We aim to make the entire process effortless. Thanks to our nationwide network of approved engineers, we can schedule your installation typically within 3–5 working days. For urgent needs, we can often arrange a next-day installation, depending on our engineer availability in the customer area.

What does the subscription fee include for a Dash Camera with GPS?

When you purchase a Dash Camera with GPS from I Track Direct, a subscription fee applies, this will be paid via Direct Debit. It covers both the tracker and camera's data plan as well as our full support package. Although the fee is mandatory, there’s no long-term contract—if you sell your vehicle, you can cancel your Direct Debit immediately.
