We offer a wide selection of vehicle trackers and immobilisers to fit your specific requirements.
The Nemesis 2 Immobiliser is one of the most advanced vehicle security systems available. It operates through the CANBUS and is compatible with all major vehicle models, including electric vehicles.
There’s no need to remember to reactivate the system after you have driven your vehicle. As soon as you turn off your vehicle, the system automatically activates the immobiliser to keep it safe and stop the vehicle from starting without your unique pin code.

What is a Vehicle Tracker and how does it work?
A vehicle tracker is a small device that can be installed in a vehicle to track the location of the vehicle. Vehicle trackers use GPS (Global Positioning System) technology to determine a vehicle’s location, which can be accessed through a smartphone app or web platform, allowing owners to monitor their vehicle in real-time.
Is my vehicle compatible?
The Nemesis 2 is compatible with most vehicles equipped with a CAN bus system (approximately 2005 onwards). Please contact us on 01622 234510 to check your vehicles compatibility.
Can the immobiliser be detected?
No. The Nemesis 2 is completely invisible to diagnostic equipment. It:
What is the difference between a standard Vehicle Tracker and an Insurance-Approved Tracker?
The key distinction between standard Vehicle Trackers and Insurance Approved Trackers lies in their monitoring and security features.
Standard vehicle trackers are self-monitored and typically include live GPS real-time tracking, geofencing, and driver behaviour monitoring.
Insurance Approved Trackers offer enhanced security:
S7 Trackers add tow-away and tamper alerts.
S5 Trackers include two Automatic Driver Recognition (ADR) tags, triggering an alert if the vehicle is moved without them.
S5+ Trackers offer the highest security, including immobilisation if the ADR tags are not present.
Is professional installation required for Vehicle trackers and Immobilisers?
For guaranteed compliance, Insurance Approved Trackers must be professionally installed. However, even with our easy-to-fit models—like the TM900 vehicle tracker, the waterproof TM880, and the OBD2 tracker—many customers choose to have our experts handle the fitting.
We aim to make the entire process effortless. Thanks to our nationwide network of approved engineers, we can schedule your installation typically within 3–5 working days. For urgent needs, we can often arrange a next-day installation, depending on our engineer availability in the customer area.
Does the Vehicle Tracker affect my vehicle's battery life?
No, vehicle trackers are designed to use minimal power, ensuring they do not significantly impact your vehicles battery life.
What type of Vehicle Tracker do I need?
If your main concern is theft or if your insurance policy requires it, you need a Thatcham Insurance Approved Tracker (S7, S5, or S5+). These systems are monitored 24/7 by a dedicated UK team and can help you save on insurance premiums. Most people opt for at least the S5 as a minimum as it offers an extra layer of security using the Automatic Driver Recognition tags.
If you're on a budget and are most interested in just knowing the location of your vehicle at all times, opt for one of our standard vehicle trackers (TM900, TM880 or OBD2). The provide live GPS tracking in real time, geofencing and movement alerts. Our Advanced TM701 tracker is a great in between for those who want to secure their vehicle while keeping costs low. It tracks on ignition and has the options to add extra features such as remote immobilisation similar to an S5+ without the 24/7 monitoring.
If you are unsure and have questions please fill in our enquiry form, WhatsApp us or call us on 01622 234510.
What does the subscription fee include?
When you purchase a vehicle tracker from I Track Direct, a subscription fee applies. You may pay this fee monthly via Direct Debit or opt for an annual payment. It covers both the tracker’s data plan and our full support package. Although the fee is mandatory, there’s no long-term contract—if you sell your vehicle, you can cancel your Direct Debit immediately.
Can the tracker be used to monitor driving behaviour?
Definitely! GPS vehicle trackers are great for monitoring driver behaviour. Many transport managers use vehicle trackers to keep an eye on their company vehicles. For advanced reporting and monitoring driver behaviour, we recommend our full Track Manager platform over Track Manager Lite as it has full access to the reports and allows comparative analysis of vehicles.
What happens if my vehicle is stolen?
With an insurance approved device, you should be alerted if the vehicle is stolen whether this be through your tow away alert or through unauthorised driving without the Automatic Driver Recognition (ADR) tag. With a standard vehicle tracker you may notice your car is stole through geofence or movement alerts.
If your vehicle is stolen, contact the police immediately, report the incident and get a Crime Reference Number (CRN). Once you have this, please contact us on 01622 234510. We will discuss this with you, monitor the vehicle location and liaise with the police to get the vehicle recovered.
