Whats the Difference between S7 and S5 Insurance Approved Trackers?
The S5 Tracker, once installed by an approved engineer, assures insurance companies of a higher likelihood of vehicle recovery, thus potentially reducing claims. It’s equipped with GPS tracking and is continuously monitored by our UK monitoring Team, they will liaise with the police for vehicle recovery.
With an S7 Insurance Approved Tracker our UK monitoring team monitor if the tracker has been interfered with, the vehicle has moved without the ignition of the vehicle being turned on i.e. being towed away.
The S5 Tracker monitors those conditions BUT it also requires a Driver ID Tag or code to be seen BEFORE the vehicle is used or the Theft Alerting and recovery process commences. This is why now more and more people are turning to the S5 Insurance Approved Tracker as a minimum standard.
What if I want to buy extra Tags?
That’s not a problem. We will program a new Tag and send them directly to you. The cost of a replacement TAG is £50.00 including VAT.
